Sipping Through a Straw

You already know that honey bees feed off of the nectar of flowers. But did you know they sip it through a straw? Those honey bees zipping past you have a proboscis, which is like a tiny drinking straw that sucks up nectar from flowers. They also have two stomachs. Some nectar goes into a bee's main stomach to digest for food and energy, while the rest of the nectar goes into a special stomach where the bee can process the nectar into honey and transport back to the hive. Yes, the brilliant bee.—Zeke
